Description: Deputy Mizner responded to a call where a local citizen reported his car had been stolen. Deputy Mizner and the citizen went looking for the car. The car was located by a local taxi driver who contacted Deputy Mizner. While Deputy Mizner was searching the stolen car, the suspect appeared and shot him in the chest. Deputy Mizner was transported to a local hospital where he died the following day.
