Description: On March 25, 1915, Detective Maneely and Detective Harry Tucker arrested a suspect on a burglary warrant. As the Detectives escorted the suspect to headquarters, the suspect produced a concealed weapon and shot both Detectives. Detective Maneely died at the scene. Detective Tucker died a month later at the hospital of his injuries.The suspect was found guilty of first degree murder.
