Description: Special Agent Malone was shot while on patrol on the San Antonio-Uvalde line in Texas. Agent Malone spotted a rum-runner on top of the train and as he attempted to apprehend the suspect, the man shot him four times. Agent Malone returned fire, killing his assailant. Agent Malone was transported to the hospital where he died several hours later.
