Description: On April 1, 1925, Police Officer Mescall was riding in a squad car when the vehicle was struck from behind by a speeding automobile. Officer Mescall was thrown onto the street and struck his head on the pavement. Three years later, Officer Mescall suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died on December 3, 1928.
