Description: Prohibition Inspector Mullins was on the courthouse steps discussing a warrant issued for public intoxication with the Commonwealth Attorney, the Mayor and the Justice of the Peace, when the suspect in question approached and shot him three times. Inspector Mullins returned fire and killed the suspect. Inspector Mullins died of his injuries two days later.
