Description: Sergeant Moore was killed in a single-vehicle auto accident while on patrol when the front right tire of his department vehicle blew out. The vehicle spun out of control, veered off the right shoulder, crashed into the guardrail and skidded sideways for 490 feet. The vehicle made contact with a culvert abutment before coming to rest. Sergeant Moore died at the scene.
