Description: Officer Montijo answered a "man with gun" call. As Officer Montijo attempted to arrest the suspect, the man shot him in the head. Officer Montijo was taken to the hospital where he was resuscitated several times but succumbed to his injuries the following day. The suspect was convicted of murder and received the death penalty.
