Description: Private McKidrict was shot and killed by an intoxicated man who was chasing a woman. Private McKidrict asked the man, whom he was friendly with, why he had fired his gun. The man responded by shooting Private McKidrict in the head and back. An El Paso County Constable returned fire and killed the man.
