Description: Police Officer McDonald was shot while conducting an undercover investigation of a group of thieves. Officer McDonald had infiltrated the group who were suspected of a rash of robberies in the community. The thieves grew suspicious of Officer McDonald, attacked him and shot him in the head. Constable John Leary (7-W: 5) was killed several days later while attempting to arrest the suspects responsible for Officer McDonald's murder. Two suspects were arrested and one of the suspects was lynched by an angry mob.
