Description: Deputies John Morgan and Parker Morgan were shot as they attempted to arrest three fugitives from Limestone County. The Morgan brothers went to the house where the fugitives were hiding to place the men under arrest and a gun battle ensued. The Morgan brothers both died at the scene. One suspect was badly wounded and the other two escaped. One of the fugitives was arrested six months later.
