Description: Constable Martin answered a burglary-in-progress call and apprehended one suspect in the barn. Constable Martin continued his search for the second suspect when he was ambushed and shot. Constable Martin returned fire, wounding both suspects, before succumbing to his wounds. The shooter received a 35 year sentence and his accomplice received an 8 year sentence.
