Description: Patrolman Marshall was shot in an exchange of gunfire with three bandits. Patrolman Marshall and a second officer were searching for the suspects who had just robbed a bank. Patrolman Marshall was shot twice in the head and died a few hours later. One of the suspects committed suicide, the second suspect was wounded and arrested. The third suspect escaped.
