Description: Officer Martin suffered a heart attack after a foot chase with suspects escaping apprehension. As the officers were returning to their vehicles, Officer Martin began to have problems breathing and severe chest pains. He completed his shift and as soon as he got home asked his wife to take him to the hospital, where he remained for six days until his death.
