Description: Officer Morales was killed when his motorcycle was struck by an intoxicated hit-and-run driver. A vehicle in the center lane of I-10 sideswiped his motorcycle, causing him to be thrown to the ground. The suspect fled the scene but was followed by a citizen who led police officers to the DUI suspect. Officer Morales was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
