Description: Police Officer Marceau died 15 years later as a result of injuries sustained on November 13, 1996, when he was struck by a vehicle while pursuing a hit-and-run suspect on foot. Officer Marceau was working a department sanctioned off-duty security job and was in full uniform at the time of the incident. Officer Marceau was taken to a nearby hospital where he remained in a coma for several weeks. Officer Marceau died on January 14, 2011, as a result of brain injuries from the accident.
