Description: Constable Mayo was shot when he responded to a disturbance call at a residence. Constable Mayo arrived to find another constable present. The constable, who was intoxicated, opposed the arrest of any occupant in the residence by Constable Mayo. The man then shot Constable Mayo three times in the abdomen. Constable Mayo died of his injuries two days later.
