Description: Patrolman Myers suffered a heart attack after pursuing an escaped convict on foot. Patrolman Myers received a call which reported that the suspect was spotted in the area. Shortly afterwards, Patrolman Myers observed a man who fit the description and gave chase. Patrolman Myers, unable to catch the suspect on foot, returned to his patrol car and collapsed. Patrolman Myers died two hours later at the hospital.
