Description: Officer Mengedoth sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash when a vehicle crossed the center divider to pass a traffic block and struck him head-on. Officer Mengedoth was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver was arrested on a charge of manslaughter.
