Description: Detective Moreno was shot and killed while attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a suspect wanted for murder. Detective Moreno and several other officers from the Repeat Offender Task Force went to an apartment complex where the suspect was hiding. The armed suspect fled on foot with the officers in pursuit. When Detective Moreno caught the suspect, the suspect turned, drew a handgun and fatally shot Detective Moreno in the face.
