Description: Deputy Martin responded to a disturbance call at a bar. As Deputy Martin stepped inside, he was fatally shot by one of the bar patrons. Deputy Martin succumbed to his injuries the following day. The suspect attempted to escape but was shot and killed by Chief Monroe Combs.
