Description: Detective Martin was killed in a single-car automobile accident as he and another deputy worked on an undercover operation. The SUV in which Detective Martin was a passenger struck a culvert and overturned due to heavy rain conditions. Detective Martin was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Detective Martin's partner sustained minor injuries.
