Description: Corrections Officer Mauldin and another officer were attacked by an inmate inside the Miller County Detention Center's kitchen. Officer Mauldin was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The second officer was also transported to the hospital and survived. The inmate was charged with capital murder and battery.
