Description: Deputy Sheriff Miller and Chief of Police Edward Huckabay were shot at the residence of a suspect. Deputy Miller went to the house to serve a nonsupport warrant. Deputy Miller was shot four times, then attacked with an axe. Responding officers surrounded the residence and teargas was deployed. Chief Huckabay led the charge against the barricaded suspect and was shot in the neck. Chief Huckabay was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The officers set fire to the residence and fatally shot the suspect when he emerged.
