Description: Deputy Sheriff May was shot when he answered a domestic disturbance call. Deputy May had been summoned regarding a disturbance where a man was threatening his family. Deputy May was shot three times as he attempted to take the suspect into custody. Although mortally wounded, Deputy May returned fire and killed his assailant.
