Description: On August 21, 2000, Police Officer McAleenan and a fellow officer were responding to a house alarm and were confronted by two large dogs as they checked the back of the house. Officer McAleenan was inadvertently struck by gunfire in the leg. Officer McAleenan died of complications due to the original injury on March 6, 2016.
