Description: Chief McClelland was struck and killed by an impaired driver traveling at a speed of 100 mph. Chief McClelland was out of the car attempting to stop traffic when he was struck. A motorcyclist was also struck minutes before the suspect crashed his vehicle. The suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of murder, vehicular homicide and DUI.
