Description: Special Deputy U.S. Marshal McKnight was struck by a city transit bus in Providence, Rhode Island. Deputy Marshal McKnight was conducting security check rounds when he was struck as he crossed the street between the U.S. District Court House and the Pastore Building. Deputy Marshal McKnight was transported to the hospital where he died of his injuries the next day.
