Description: Constable McGinley was shot nine times as he searched for two suspects who were involved in a robbery that had occurred the day before. The suspects lay in wait as Constable McGinley approached and opened fire as he came within a few feet of them. They robbed him of his revolver and wallet and hid his body in the woods where it was found by fellow officers later that day.
