Description: Sergeant May was killed when his patrol vehicle was struck by an impaired hit-and-run driver who was evading the police. Sergeant May was on DUI patrol when he engaged in the effort to stop the driver. While attempting to evade the police, the driver intentionally crashed into Sergeant May's patrol vehicle. Sergeant May was transported to a nearby hospital where he died. The driver was taken into custody.
