Description: Detective Minser was attacked and beaten while conducting an undercover investigation. Detective Minser went to gather evidence regarding a speakeasy. Detective Minser was discovered by the suspects and beaten unconscious and his body was left in a field. Detective Minser was found the next morning entirely paralyzed on his left side. Detective Minser was transported to the hospital where he remained until his death two weeks later on March 19, 1918.
