Description: Harbor Patrol Officer Mitchell died during a storm while attempting to secure a boat that became loose from its moorings by the heavy winds and rough waves. As Officer Mitchell jumped from the vessel to get to safety he fell overboard and was crushed between the vessel and the rocks.
