Description: Deputy Sheriff Matthews was killed in an automobile accident. While patrolling US 95, Deputy Matthews's patrol vehicle drifted left of center. Deputy Matthews corrected his steering, but an oncoming driver swerved into his patrol vehicle. Deputy Matthews died at the scene of the accident.
