Description: Detective Moore was shot when he and his partner were attempting to question a suspicious man. The suspect removed a handgun from his waistband and fired three shots into the vehicle, striking Detective Moore. Detective Moore was transported to the hospital and underwent surgery. Detective Moore slipped into a coma and was removed from life support two days later on May 4, 2015. The suspect was charged with first degree murder.
