Description: Captain Morris died when he responded to a grounded aircraft fire at the Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. After the fire was extinguished, one of the overheated tires from the aircraft exploded. Captain Morris was killed when he was struck by a metal part of the wheel assembly.
