Description: Police Officer III Mortera was undergoing SWAT training when he collapsed in the middle of a 200 yard sprint. Officer Mortera was transported to the hospital where he never regained consciousness and died three days later on February 14, 2015. Officer Mortera's training completed prior to his heart attack consisted of 0.86 miles of sprint intervals, two circuits of a 200 yard sprint followed by a circuit of six exercises.
