Description: On April 12, 1938, Patrolman Moruzzi was shot in the head in an exchange of gunfire during a robbery in progress at a restaurant. Patrolman Moruzzi was transported to the hospital and died of his injuries five days later. Two suspects were convicted of murder and executed via the electric chair.
