Description: Police Officer Murkerson was severely injured in a motorcycle crash while in pursuit of a traffic offender. Officer Murkerson's motorcycle hit a pothole and flipped over several times. Officer Murkerson was transported to the hospital with head wounds and died during surgery the next day.
