Description: Sheriff Miller was shot with an arrow and beaten by unknown suspects while en route to arrest a suspect for murder. Sheriff Miller traveled on horseback from Burnet County, Texas to Oklahoma City to arrest suspect W. P. Brown. He was ambushed and killed while en route to the Indian Territory, which is now Oklahoma City.
