Description: Sergeant Martin responded to a call where a drunken suspect was causing a public disturbance. When Sergeant Martin attempted to arrest the suspect, a fight ensued. The suspect produced a gun and shot Sergeant Martin in the arm and head. Sergeant Martin remained under doctors care and died 9 days later.
