Description: Patrolman Peter J. Manning was struck and killed by a DUI motorist. Patrolman Manning observed a vehicle swerving from lane to lane and stepped into the street with his flashlight to flag down the vehicle. The motorist did not stop and struck Patrolman Manning. Patrolman Manning died at the scene.
