Description: Patrolman Maher suffered a fatal heart attack after lifting a motorcycle off of a man who was pinned underneath. Patrolman Maher was directing traffic at the intersection of E149th and Lakeshore when he witnessed a man lose control of his motorcycle. Patrolman Maher went to the aid of the man and lifted the motorcycle off of him. Shortly afterwards, Patrolman Maher, pale and ashen in color, suffered a fatal heart attack.
