Description: Officer Miller was checking on an illegally parked car when a truck driver fell asleep and collided with the back of his patrol car. He was pinned between his patrol car and another vehicle, crushing his legs. Officer Miller died three weeks later of a massive pulmonary embolism while waiting for surgery on his injured legs.
