Description: Officer Milam and Officer Timothy Baker responded to a disturbance call in the public housing community. When the officers arrived they found a man who was drunk and cursing very loud. The suspect resisted arrest and struggled with the officers as they escorted him to their patrol vehicle. The suspect had to be physically placed in the patrol car. As the officers prepared to drive their prisoner to jail, Officer Milam slumped in the passenger seat and was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead of a heart attack moments later at the local hospital.
