Description: Officer May responded to a call where a group of men were fighting in the street. When Officer May arrived on the scene, one of the suspects fled. Officer May pursued and the suspect gang member produced a semi-automatic handgun and killed Officer May. A 14-year-old police explorer scout, who was in the car with Officer May, was not injured and radioed dispatch that Officer May was down.
