Description: Deputy Meyer was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a burglary in progress call. Deputy Meyer entered the highway construction area and lost control of his vehicle, which overturned and struck some construction equipment. The Emergency Response Team used extrication equipment to free Deputy Meyer from his patrol car. Deputy Meyer was transported to the Clark Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
