Description: Officer MacDonald was supervising an inmate workcrew who were cleaning snow off of a rooftop. As Officer MacDonald stepped from the ladder to the roof, the ladder slipped and he fell 20 feet on to the concrete below. He was rushed to the hospital suffering from a massive head injury. Officer MacDonald never recovered and died of his injuries about six months later.
