Description: Sergeant Mosqueda was scanning the neighborhood near a Safeway store that had just been robbed when he was shot in his police car by armed robbery suspect, Charles Sexton. Sexton barricaded himself in his home and died when tear gas propelled into the house caused the house to catch fire. It wasn't until this incident was over that Sergeant Mosqueda was found in his car with gunshot wounds to his head and throat.
