Description: Patrolman Miller was killed in an automobile accident while in pursuit of a traffic violator. Training Supervisor, Sergeant Soiles, was driving the patrol vehicle at the time of the accident. While in pursuit, Sergeant Soiles applied brakes to avoid hitting another vehicle. The patrol vehicle went out of control, crossed the median and struck a vehicle head on. Patrolman Miller was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
