Description: Officer Mason was shot and killed by a man whom she had previously arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. Officer Mason was off-duty when the suspect approached her and began to argue with her. The suspect produced a weapon and shot Officer Mason several times in the chest. Officer Mason died en route to the hospital.
