Description: Park Ranger Makuakane-Jarrell was shot and killed in Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Hawaii. Ranger Makuakane-Jarrell was responding to a visitor's complaint of a man with three unleashed dogs. Upon confronting the suspect, a struggle ensued. The suspect gained control of the Ranger's service revolver and shot him several times, killing him. The suspect was arrested several days later.
